Here's the thing
The question of a compulsory Covid passport is being mooted here in BoJoLand, a domain that may include the sulking Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Cornwall—right now the whole shebang's as confused and confusing as BoJo himself—another story.
Broadly, the Covid passport amounts to having one of those square barcode thingies on one's mobile/cell phone to verify that one has had the vaccination and up-to-the-minute test, and, only after flashing it at the door, will you get into a cinema, a pub, a football stadium(ugh!), Peter Jones (stores), planes, trains maybe...
Needless to say, this question evokes fiery passions in The Realm (with or without Harry&Megan, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Cornwall), and too, in myself. I would argue that there was never a flu passport "not the same thing not the same# #@~}{*%!!!" nor an Aids passport nor an Ebola passport "not the sa—" I detest passports on principle, I am a fervent World Citizen "stupid~wouldn't work" I am a fervent World Citizen and would like to see changes in that respect but can't see it happening "said it~stupid~won't work"
H.North is still typing the big thought, stay glued...
